I was deeply inspired by the concept of the Monad and the cosmic source of life. I wanted to visually represent the interplay between two primal forces: a focused, 'masculine' singularity at the core, and the expansive, 'feminine' potential that spirals and dances around it to create order out of the void.
To build this celestial structure in TouchDesigner, I started with basic grid and sphere geometries. By applying a combination of noise, twist, and fractal operators, I warped these base shapes into a deep, swirling vortex. The lines naturally bend and curve toward the glowing central core, simulating an immense, magnetic field of creation.
The life-force of this cosmic dance comes from the audio input. Using my audio analysis setup, I extracted specific frequencies to drive the rotation, tension, and expansion of the vortex. As the track evolves, the music literally orchestrates the interaction between the bright core and the surrounding waves, creating a sense of breathing, universal order.
To achieve that deep-space aesthetic, I relied on a rich post-processing network. I combined a feedback loop with edge detection and blurs to generate the sweeping, luminous trails that flow through the dark canvas. Finally, I used a custom lookup ramp to color the scene in deep, tranquil blues and bright starlight whites, perfectly capturing the feeling of a celestial birth.
